Ezekiel is one of the four ‘major prophets’ in the Old Testament. He prophesied during the time of Jeremiah and Daniel (two other ‘major prophets’). The most notable feature of the book of Ezekiel may be the appearance of the Living Creatures (a.k.a., Cherubim). Ezekiel received the vision of the Cherubim while in captivity by the Babylonians. The Babylonian Captivity symbolizes the upcoming Great Tribulation. Most prophecy in the Bible is symbolic. The book of Ezekiel also contains much symbolism. The Living Creatures (Cherubim) are created beings which are almost always associated with the throne of God. But, they also contain much symbolic meanings about God and His work on earth. This video focuses on the four faces on each of the four cherubim. The four faces are of a man, a lion, an eagle and an ox. Click on the link below to view a YouTube video on this topic.
