As can be seen from the above chart, the only difference between a saved and unsaved person is that the saved person has been made spiritually alive and therefore, their connection to God is restored. The unsaved person is spiritually dead and therefore, their connection to God is broken. But, both the saved and unsaved have a body and soul and therefore, share many similar earthly connections. However, the saved person has an on-going battle between the spirit and the flesh concerning sin (Romans 8).
