Click Here to Clearly Understand What ‘Christ’ Means

This ministry serves to exalt Jesus Christ and His three-fold ministry of being Prophet, Priest and King.  This ministry is free of denominational biases and is not associated with a visible church, but is only part of the true, invisible church of all true believers in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Fundamental to this ministry is that the Bible is the Word of God.  The Bible was written by the prophets and apostles as inspired by the Holy Spirit[1].  To correctly understand the Bible, one must understand that the Bible is correctly interpreted only by comparing spiritual with spiritual[2] (i.e., comparing one portion of Scripture with another portion of Scripture).  One must use the entire Bible (Old and New Testaments) and realize that Jesus Christ said that His words are spirit and they are life[3].  Many, including Christ’s disciples, are offended at what the Bible teaches us[4]. However, the Bible teaches us that those who love God’s message to us will not be offended by His Word[5].

World religions, including most of professing Christianity, are works based religions.  The true Gospel of the Bible is that one is saved by grace alone[6].  The offence of the Gospel is that mankind can do nothing to merit, earn or chose salvation[7]. The true and only Gospel is that of the grace of God by faith.  God has chosen His people and has given them the faith of Jesus Christ, resulting in salvation[8].  The faith of Jesus Christ is given to His people as a gift. This fact is very offensive to mankind[9].

The flesh still desires the pleasures and lust of the world[10].  However, Christians are spiritually born again resulting in a war between the spirit and the flesh[11].  Although the flesh still sins, the spirit of a Christian is led by the indwelling Holy Spirit to be victorious over sin (although not completely since the Christian is still in the flesh)[12].  The Bible teaches that the good fruit of the Christian will become more and more evident in the life of a Christian[13].  The fact that a Christian must be holy is also offensive to mankind.

A Christian believes that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah)[14].  That is, the Christian believers that Jesus Christ is the Prophet, Priest and King of his or her life.  Jesus is the Prophet in that he is the Word of God. He is the Priest in that He is the only way to salvation and by His elective work alone, a Christian is saved.  He is a King in that He is the Lord of a Christian’s life and the Christian will serve Him and be faithful and obedient to Him.

The Christian continues, in this world, to live in Babylon.   Babylon is the confusion of the visible works-based Christian churches, which are drunken with the love of the world’s idolatry of wisdom, riches and might[15].  As the Berean believers, the Christian must continually study the Word of God to know if what they are being taught is in accordance with the Bible[16].  This teaching ministry is intended to assist the Christian in his or her quest to know God in a more thorough and Biblically consistent manner.
