Parables in the Gospels

The Parables of Jesus Christ reveal beautiful truths to God’s people. But, parables are not easy to understand. To understand a parable, the Holy Spirit enlightens God’s people when they read the Bible and compare Scripture with Scripture. This allows God’s people to receive a deeper understanding of God and His kingdom. For those who are unsaved, parables confuse them and limit their understanding of God.
