The Parable of the Growing Seed and its Harvest reveals important spiritual truth. Jesus spoke extensively using parables. Parables are earthly stories, but have a very important spiritual truth. This parable is about a man who shares the Gospel. But, while he sleeps, the seed grows on its own. This points to the work of God in salvation through the Word of God . It is God who uses the Word to save others. It is not the work of humans that causes salvation. it is only by the working of the Holy Spirit.
