Jewish Calendar – Timing (Spiritual Meaning)

The feasts and sabbaths of the Old Testament contain important spiritual truth. They are full of symbolic meanings. The timing of these feasts also have spiritual meaning. These feasts occur in the first, third and seventh months of the Jewish calendar. Also, the days that these feasts occur on have spiritual meaning. However, none of these feasts and sabbaths are intended to be kept today. That is because all of these symbolic actions have their fulfillment in Jesus Christ. In fact, the Bible teaches that we should not let anyone judge us for not keeping these feasts and sabbath days (Col 2:16-17).
