The Bible contains many miracles of Jesus Christ. Below is a list of key miracles recorded in the Bible. But, the Bible teaches us that there are “… many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book” (Joh 20:30, see also John 21:25).
It is important to understand that the word ‘miracle’ is not found in the original Greek manuscripts of the New Testament. Rather, the Greek words sēmeion (signs) or dunamis (power) are sometimes translated as ‘miracle’ in several English versions of the Bible (e.g., KJV, etc.). Therefore, it can be understood that when read of a ‘miracle’ of Jesus, it is really a ‘powerful sign’. Moreover, a ‘sign’ indicates that it is symbolic of a greater spiritual truth. In order to understand the fuller spiritual meaning of the miracles (signs) of Jesus Christ, it is important to correctly interpret the Bible by comparing Scripture with Scripture.
Below is a listing of key miracles (signs) of Jesus Christ. The highlighted items below provide a link to a YouTube video that further develops the spiritual meaning of the miracles (signs) of Jesus Christ. Additionally, links are provided below that provide an overview of this YouTube series. Lord willing, additional YouTube videos will be issued in the near future.
