Parable of the Good Samaritan and the Innkeeper

The Parable of the Good Samaritan has important spiritual truths. It is about a man who was injured by robbers on the road from Jerusalem to Jericho. A Priest and a Levite of Judah avoided the injured man on the road. However, a Samaritan (who were disliked by the Jews) stopped to help the man. This parable underscores the compassion and mercy of the Samaritan who was not considered to be of Israel or Judah. In fact, they were generally hated. There are very important deeper spiritual truths in this parable. For example, there are 2 witnesses: the Samaritan and the Innkeeper. They have very important spiritual meanings that apply to the church today. Click on the link below to view a YouTube video on this topic.
