Jesus performed many miracles. Some of them are recorded in the Gospels in the Bible. These miracles (signs) are amazing actions that validated Jesus Christ as God. Moreover, these ‘signs’ indicate that the miracles contain a much greater spiritual truth. An example of this is when Jesus healed a blind and mute man. This man was also possessed by a demon. Not only was this man physically healed from blindness and unable to speak, but he was also healed from demon possession. Blindness and unable to speak have spiritual meanings.
