The Parable of the 10 pounds is an important warning to people who think they are Christians. The overall meaning of the parable is that true salvation will result in good spiritual works. God’s people will not be ashamed of the Gospel. Also, Christians will have authority with Jesus Christ on Judgment Day. That is, they will be with Christ and the nations will be put under their feet. However, those who are in the church and not producing spiritual fruit will be condemned.
