In Matthew 14:22-34, Mark 6:45-53 and John 6:16-21, Jesus Walks on the Sea. In Mat 14:27-31, the Bible teaches us that Peter also attempted to walk on water. But, when he attempted to walk, he started to sink. He started to sink because he saw the boisterous wind and waves. He was afraid. But, Jesus Christ saved him from sinking to his death. Jesus told Peter that he only had little faith. Why wasn’t Peter’s little faith enough to walk on water? The Bible say that Jesus walked on the sea while Peter attempted to walk on water. Why are these different (i.e., the sea versus the water). This event illustrates that the faith of humans does not save. It is only the faith of Jesus Christ that saves.
