Christian Zionism is a false prophecy and a false Gospel. It teaches that many Old Testament passages regarding the regathering of God’s people only apply to National Israel. This false teaching pervades evangelical Christianity (baptists, pentecostals, megachurches, independent churches, etc.) Many teach that National Israel in the Middle East has the sole right to the Promised Land. God promised this land to Abraham and his Seed. But, Abraham’s Seed is Jesus Christ and His people (Christians). These false Zionist teachers do not understand that God’s people are Spiritual Israel (I.e., Jew and Gentile alike). This false teaching also includes a future millennium when God’s attention is turned to National Israel. When they see Jesus Christ ruling in Jerusalem, they will turn to Him.
