What is the sin unto death discussed in 1 John 5? Why does this type of sin lead to death? Is this spiritual death, physical death or both? The Bible teaches that God answers Christians’ prayer when they pray in God’s will. However, Christians should not pray for people to be delivered from this sin. Once we understand what this sin is, we can understand why we are not to pray for it. In fact, not praying for this sin reveals much about the nature of God’s salvation plan for His people.
God’s people are saved only by grace. They were chosen before the world began. Once God gives them saving faith, they will never commit the sin unto death.
